Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

- 3. Lightly flour a work surface and unfold the puff pastry. Roll it out slightly into a 10x12-inch rectangle.
- 4. Brush the melted butter evenly over the entire pastry surface.

- 6. Using a pizza cutter or sharp knife, cut the pastry into 12 strips (about 1 inch wide each).
- 7. Gently twist each strip a few times and place on the prepared baking sheet, pressing the ends down slightly to prevent unravelling.
- 8. Brush the tops of the twists with the beaten egg.
- 9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
- 10. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
